A Match Made In Heaven.

The Brief:
  • To devise and deliver an integrated campaign combining print and digital PR & marketing, to announce the relaunch of Republic Technologies' matches range to consumers and the trade.
  • Highlight the wider usage occasions of matches among key consumer audiences, utilising the three core brands: Cook's Matches, Bryant & May, and Swan.
What We Did:
  • Devised and delivered a national consumer survey in partnership with Bryant & May. 'Re-light My Fire' looked at how couples can re-ignite the spark in their relationship - and the signs that the spark has died!
  • Partnered with 'foodie' titles - Olive and Delicious - to deliver advertising and sponsored advertorials in association with Cook's Matches.
  • Partnered with Sunday Express 'S' Magazine to deliver a series of sponsored advertorials in the Food, Interiors and Gardening pages, supported by digital advertising.
  • Implemented a sustained programmed of trade media relations including news and features support, plus multi-channel advertising to keep matches front of mind.

  • 105 pieces of coverage across print, digital and social channels, within consumer and trade

  • Coverage in national tabloids including The Sun, Mirror, Independent and the Metro
