Team MTJA takes on the Three Peaks

If there’s anything we love at MTJA it’s a challenge, and the team is about to take on its toughest campaign yet – tackling the Three Peaks to raise money for a worthy cause.

MTJA managing director Martin Jackson will join account director Claire Murgatroyd and Cheshire based creative agency, Double D Creative, on a gruelling mission to tackle the tallest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales in just 24 hours on 5th and 6th August 2016.

The team is aiming to raise £10,000 for Cheshire charity, The Joshua Tree, to mark Double D Creative’s 10th anniversary.

Martin said: “MTJA has worked side by side with Double D Creative for a number of years and we were delighted to be asked to participate for this very worthy cause. The team is already in training and we’re looking forward to what is sure to be an extremely rewarding experience for everyone taking part.”

Tom Dent, co-founder and director at Double D Creative, said: “We wanted to do something to celebrate reaching double figures that was going to challenge us, raise a significant amount for charity and also involve clients.  So we thought what better way than to put ourselves, and 10 of our lucky clients, through a gruelling 24hr trek ascending the tallest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales!

“The Joshua Tree is an incredible charity supporting families living with the life-changing experience of childhood cancer. They offer emotional and practical support to the whole family to ensure that life remains as normal as possible during what is an incredibly traumatic time. It’s a privilege to be raising money for them.”

Team MTJA will join Double D Creative to climb over 3400m across three mountains; Snowdon in Wales, Scafell Pike in England and Ben Nevis in Scotland.

Sara Wheater, Fundraising Manager at The Joshua Tree comments: “All monies raised from this epic challenge will go towards the build of our much needed new Support Centre scheduled for later this year for the families we support across Cheshire who are affected by childhood cancers.”
