On Friday 4th September, MTJ Associates reached the top of Mt. Snowdon – the highest peak in Wales – raising over £1,700 for charity in the process.
With a bit of team spirit (and a lot of snacks!) MTJA scaled the 3,560ft mountain, climbing to the peak and back down again in a seven-hour trek to raise funds for the Jamaica Basic Schools Foundation.
The Foundation provides funding to improve the quality of pre-school education and learning environments for disadvantaged three to six-year-old children in Jamaica, and the MTJA team (made up of seven, plus one dog) were delighted to be able to raise such a fantastic amount of money for such a worthy cause.
We’d like to thank all of our sponsors for the support, which really helped to spur us on during what proved to be a challenging and rewarding experience.
Watch this space for future fundraisers from team MTJA!
