MTJA client Smylies has been shortlisted in two categories at the upcoming Echo Regional Business Awards (RBAs) – The MSIF Business of the Year and International Trader of the Year.
MTJA managed the RBA entry process on behalf of Smylies, the awards are now in their 23rd year. They aim to recognise individuals and businesses that have driven production and innovation, contributing to the economic and employment landscape throughout the region.
The awards are hosted by the Liverpool Echo in conjunction with Business Post magazine and are sponsored by DLA Piper and KPMG.
Professor Tom Cannon of Liverpool University’s Management School said: “It is crystal clear that there are so many wonderful businesses across the city region, not only new, young companies but also more established names and others, who are making key contributions to the economy here across a variety of sectors – providing jobs, services and products and driving innovation and development.
“It is also clear to me, from the calibre of entries which the panel has had to assess, that the economic renaissance of the Liverpool city region continues apace.”
The award winners will be announced at a black tie dinner on Thursday 22nd June, at St George’s Hall in Liverpool.
